Rusnak is known for developing a distinctive visual language in which geometric structures become metaphors for instinct, resilience, wisdom, and inner strength.
Her works have been exhibited internationally, including at Art Miami, Art Monaco, Women in Art Biennale London, World Art Dubai, ADIHEX Abu Dhabi, Open 20 Venice, and Art Beirut. She has also held numerous solo exhibitions, including at Villa Klimt in Vienna.
The works presented in this exhibition are a diptych featuring horses formed from antique maps and layered cosmic compositions. The animal figures emerge from fragments of historical cartography, creating a dialogue between movement, mythology, memory, and exploration.
The horses reflect historical ideas of travel, discovery, and the exploration of the world. They embody humanity’s desire to understand the past and its origins while highlighting the contrast between historical and contemporary perceptions of the world.
Set against cosmic spaces inspired by star charts and celestial coordinates, the works explore the connection between earthly journeys and spiritual ones. The diptych becomes a metaphor for navigation — not only across geography, but also through identity, history, and human consciousness.
