Krassilnikova arrived in France at the end of the Soviet Union to join the troupe of the legendary Paris cabaret, the Moulin Rouge, where she performed as a solo dancer for ten years. During those years behind the scenes, she developed a deep passion for photography, capturing intimate moments and building a visual world inspired by the cabaret’s nocturnal atmosphere.
Krasilnikova’s transition from stage to photography became official in 2003, when she left performance to devote herself entirely to her artistic work. She gained early recognition with her photographic series on the Moulin Rouge, first exhibited in London in 2001 in the prestigious Mayfair district. Her work has since been displayed in galleries across major cultural capitals including Paris, New York, London, and Moscow, establishing her as an internationally exhibited artist.
Alongside her fine art practice, Krassilnikova has built a distinguished career in editorial and celebrity photography, working with European magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Glamour, Gala, and Hello. In 2005, she made a notable debut in Paris Match with a ten-page feature and has collaborated permanently with the magazine since 2010. Passionate about innovation, her black-and-white works have been distributed since 2023 by IONNYK, the company behind the first electronic paper frame dedicated to photographic art.
